Position Summary:
The Director of Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the overall maintenance and safety of the facility. This includes managing building systems, preventative maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and supervising maintenance staff to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment for residents and team members.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Maintenance in our facility you are responsible for for the overall condition of our beautiful facility; you duties would include the following;

 

  • Oversee and implement all maintenance department programs and activities.
  • Repair/maintain heating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and nurse call systems and fire safety equipment.
  • Order/maintain maintenance supplies.
  • Compliance with all regulatory expectations and annual compliance for Federal, State, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain all preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and property.
  • Assume the overall administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of supervising the Maintenance Dept. and contractual work.
  • Provide security to the facility while at work and be available to respond to emergency needs at the facility while on/off work.

Qualifications

Director of Maintenance Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Technical or Trade school in Plumbming, HVAC, Electical
  • Experience managing others
