Sign-On Bonus

  • $5,000 for part-time employees
  • $10,000 for full-time employees

Power Weekend Schedule

The Power Weekend program is designed exclusively for weekend coverage. All scheduled hours must be worked between 6:00 a.m. Saturday and 6:00 a.m. Monday.

  • Regularly scheduled shifts are 12 hours.
  • Each shift includes one unpaid 30-minute meal break.
  • Total paid time is 11.5 hours per shift.
  • Weekly overtime applies when you work more than 40 eligible hours during the workweek, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

Power Weekend Bonus

Earn a bonus equal to eight hours of pay at your base hourly rate for each weekend in which you meet both of the following requirements:

  1. Work at least 23 hours of your regularly scheduled Power Weekend shifts.
  2. Complete every scheduled Power Weekend shift in full, without calling off or leaving early.

Employment and Benefits Eligibility

Power Weekend employees are considered part-time for employee-benefit eligibility. Employees must consistently work at least 30 hours per week to qualify for full-time benefits.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing for the daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of the resident. This includes providing professional assessments and documentation of the resident’s heath and assisting with management of the assigned nursing units and staff.

  • Participating in the development and implementation of resident care plans, maintaining current nursing care plans, documenting progress, and making recommendations for care plan revisions (MDS) according to facility policy and procedure; 
  • Making daily and periodic resident visits for monitoring and observing the residents’ physical/mental condition;
  • Performing routine nursing procedures while working closely with physicians and families to maintain the health/mental state of the resident;
  • Providing emotional support to residents and their families while handling resident and/or visitor complaints, allegations, accidents, and incidents;
  • Providing medical record documentation, completing 24-hour reports, end-of-shift reports, shift narcotic counts, and documenting the destruction of outdated or discontinued medications;
  • Maintaining up-to-date resident medical records.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid RN license in good standing according to State and Federal requirements.
  • Have a thorough understanding of safe and effective nursing practices within the State of Florida.
  • Basic Computer knowledge and skills.
  • A passion for caring for people.
  • Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and other personnel. 
  • The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
  • Knowledge of personal computer use, including Word and Excel, and proficiency with office machines such as fax and copy machines.
